Every so often some christian brothers whom you have not met for a long time come back and tell you their amazing stories.

They told me their struggles, their wins and loses. Sometimes it breaks your heart just to hear their stories.

One brother has to learn a middle east language out of his love for the lost. He continually looks for the lost sheep from a particular cultural background around his town in England. Two brothers had to give up their relationship with non-believer girlfriends, one can only imagine the pain they felt. One had given up his high paying job, security and comfort of Australia, to become a missionary.

Soldiers for Christ, that’s who they are, marching daily in the fallen world, lying down their lives for Christ and for others.

It ain’t easy being a christian, but don’t worry you are not alone, there are others walking the Lord’s way. And remember our Lord Jesus didn’t take the easy way out, He chose to obey and drank the cup.

Brothers and sisters whom I long to meet again, you know who you are, keep those stories coming, we will remember you in our prayers. Your stories and words of encouragement will keep reminding us to continue running this race.
