As with most students, I too have to face the problem of choosing subjects to do this session. My selection is limited by my commitments such as working, interest in the subject and usefulness of the subject for life.

Sigh, I am not really interested in most of the subjects offered by CSE, I think I’ll be doing COMP9031 and COMP9318. 9318 lecturer got an accent that makes it really hard for me to follow what he’s saying (and to keep awake in his lectures). COMP9031 will probably teach only a little thing about Java that I can’t learn myself or have already learned before. After hearing 9031 lecturer, I don’t think he’s expert with Java anyway, but at least he communicates clearly.

All the years spent in CSE, only a number of subjects that really got me interested, the ones that I can remember are: COMP2041, COMP4001, COMP9314, COMP3311. hm hm..
