I remember the first 2 church camps that I went were the ones that I have ever been so far. The 2nd church camp was better than the 1st one, and I think it was on God’s wisdom from Proverbs.

Had a fantastic time meeting people from different fellowship and get to know them quite well, it’s quite hard to do that now due to the size of the church and fellowship, now we also got many pelitans (and new pelitan ppl) to get to know as well.

They were the best of times, when you were there just to absorb and be challenged by God’s word. It’s not that simple anymore when you are in a senior position (and leading), not saying that you cant be challenged by God’s word anymore, but it’s just different, your mind is divided. Although I think in some ways, that’s the way it ought to be, when you no longer care only for your own growth but for others as well.
