ID told us that the way she creates her art is: spending 90% of the time to think/scribble/doodle/design around and then 10% of the time to actually put the thought to the canvas (or photoshop in her case). She told us that this is how design/art people work.
I think to some degree, software design is the same. In assignment 1, we are to provide an architecture design for a image acquisition system. The specs are open ended (as usual) thus we are free to make assumptions as long as they are stated in the report. It’s already 1 week and I haven’t come up with something concrete yet, although it’s getting clearer every time.
The assignment is due this Friday, if use ID’s principle then I should start writing Thurs/Fri, provided that I already “got it”.
