Just came back from Obor meeting about an one and a half hour ago. I was thinking of not coming, since I was quite tired. On Sunday nite I was working on my uni assignment until quite late and then had to leave earlier for work as I need to send my car to a smash repair. And as expected work was crazy again today.
But then I remembered I always come tired to Obor meetings but felt energized afterward, is it the people, the word of God or both.. I should considered a privilege to be part of Obor. Having the opportunity to be trained under JN (although for some reasons he didn’t attend this year’s meetings) and CG as well as be sharpen and encouraged by other leaders.
I think my days as an Oborian are limited now, if the discipleship goes well (and I think it is), we will have an influx of young leaders coming in and it will be simply not practical nor beneficial for the group to grow too big. And then it will be time for me to serve in other way. I better use my limited time well then, before being asked to make room for the young ones 🙂 And when that day comes, I will thank the Lord for raising young and able men and women.
