ID told us that the way she creates her art is: spending 90% of the time to think/scribble/doodle/design around and then 10% of the time to actually put the thought to the canvas (or photoshop in her case). She told us that this is how design/art people work.
I think to some degree, software design is the same. In assignment 1, we are to provide an architecture design for a image acquisition system. The specs are open ended (as usual) thus we are free to make assumptions as long as they are stated in the report. It’s already 1 week and I haven’t come up with something concrete yet, although it’s getting clearer every time.
The assignment is due this Friday, if use ID’s principle then I should start writing Thurs/Fri, provided that I already “got it”.

Certainly the best Slam Dunk contest I’ve ever seen (not that I’ve seen many of them). I remembered MJ’s free throw line dunk WAS the most memorable on for a long time, but nowadays players are able to do that, no sweat (someone did it this year just for 1st round dunk).
Nate Robinson different in that he’s not as tall as normal NBA players and boy can he fly, he deservedly won the contest I must say. Iguodala, his final opponent was very good too, how can one even think of doing a windmill behind the back.. it’s just wow..

Having an extra person in the house, is something that I still have to get use to. Of course sleeping is a bit disturbed, but not as bad as what people told me, maybe it’s because that I am a deep sleeper, wife definitely got much less sleep.
A recruitment agent rang me the other day, offering a web dev position with PC Tools, I rejected it first, saying that I am not looking, but then he mentioned the salary, I had a change of mind :P. Already agreed for an interview, but changed my mind in the end, I don’t feel right taking too many consecutive leaves, I also need to settle down first with the baby and stuff.
Work is getting busier too with the auction site is finally getting the go, I noticed some logical changes from the initial specs.. which means only one thing.. more work.. sigh.
