Listening to FM103.2 has incited my longing for hearing good catchy contemporary christians songs. This is a list for myself, on my next visit to Koorong, I would look for:
Smile – Chris Rice
Water – Kristy Starling
Getting into you – Relient K
If they all in one compilation album, that would be great. I also need to find out the lyrics for Jonfulton’s Shook up my world to make sense of the song.

On the subject of contemporary christian music, I really like Watermark’s album Constant. Watermark is a group of a married couple. The wife Christy is the singer and the husband Nathan co-wrote the songs and produced the album. Christy’s voice is amazing. Unfortunatelly with many contemporary christian songs, some of their songs have biblical theme misinterpreted/misused.

Listening to this music stream has convinced me that Christians artists are musically equally talented if not better than their world counterpart. If only more effort is put into the lyrics to reflect more of the bible truth.

I borrowed 3 videos last wednesday, they are: Bend it like Beckham, Samurai X and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. The first two videos was somewhat dissapointing. Not much soccer in Bend it like Beckham, the acting is a little bit plain and the story line is typical of this sort of movies. The same goes for Samurai X, the animation is not impressive at all, was expecting more samurai slashing and the story, well..

Fortunatelly, I borrowed Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, I must say this is one of the best anime movies I ever watched. The story is very engaging, the characters are well developed and yes the fighting and the animation is so much better than Samurai X. Hm, thinking of getting the DVD version, it’s sold for 19.99 at HMV.

Hooray, the best talent won! Guy just won the first Australian Idol.

The computer was still acting up today, frustation continues for the tellers, customers and especially my team leader. She has to continually talking to customers explaining the situation and there’s always one or two abusive customers.

From a visit to Wannabe Girl, I tried out the new translucent design while waiting for Australian Idol. If you found the colour is too cheesy and hurtful to your eyes, blame it all to my mild colour blind eyes and lack of artistical talent.

Just found out that MT can create a thumbnail automatically from image uploaded to the server. The image is taken from Blizzard’s game Warcraft III, I think I should change the image with something else later on, I am afraid it’s copyrighted (is there anything that is not under copyright whatsoever nowadays?).

It’s getting late and I haven’t prepared the Pelita thanksgiving program for next Friday.

Looking forward for playing basketball tomorrow night, but I am also bit worried as I heard the other church people are quite serious with the game. I reckon as I am older I would be more prone to injury and fatique.

Heard this song when tuning to 103.2FM, it’s a nice song sung by Chris Rice. After the Revelation series in church, this song reminds me again to be eager for Jesus’ return.
